Contract
Between Lecturer, Barbara Hawkins, and Sponsor for Out-Of-Town Class(es)
Per this agreement:
Barbara Hawkins, LECTURER, will
* Teach the Silva Life System and/or Silva Intuition Training in 2 days or agreed upon time frame.
The hours are Saturday and Sunday 9:00am - 7:00pm
* Provide all materials for conducting the class unless appropriate items are on-site.
* While it’s the intention that all interested persons can attend, seating priority is always given to new students.
* Provide manuals for students – new or Graduates – as appropriate.
* Provide Graduates’ certificates.
** If a public venue is used for the meeting site, it must be approved in advance. After Lecturer’s approval, Lecturer agrees to pay for this if there is a fee.
This can be paid directly to the venue or reimbursed to the Sponsor.
SPONSOR will
* Provide Lecturer's overnight accommodations in their home or a Silva Grad’s home. This could also be in a new student’s home or a nearby hotel / motel which Lecturer approves.
Typically, this is a Friday through Sunday night stay and it is negotiable.
* Host the class in their home (or someone else’s home other than the Sponsor, with Lecturer’s approval) at no charge OR locate an appropriate meeting site at a reasonable rate which, upon Lecturer’s approval, Lecturer pays for either directly to the venue or by reimbursing the Sponsor.
** If a public venue is used for the meeting site, it must be approved by the Lecturer in advance. After Lecturer’s approval, Lecturer agrees to pay for this.
Costs for items such as coffee, tea, water, etc. must be discussed and approved by the Lecturer in advance. Availability/extra cost of items such as white-board, markers, erasers also must be identified, discussed and agreed in advance.
* Any monies to be reimbursed by the Lecturer, Barbara Hawkins, must be identified and agreed upon at the time of this agreement. Unforeseen costs must be discussed with Lecturer, Barbara Hawkins, as soon as they are known.
* The Sponsor is responsible for guaranteeing a minimum of 6 (six) new students. Tuition can be collected by the Sponsor OR individuals can pay through PayPal, a secure online server. There is no limit on the number of Graduates attending as long as there is adequate room.
The normal class tuition for a new student is $595. Therefore the minimum amount payable to Lecturer would be $3570.
This amount may vary if discounts have been granted – but discounts can only be granted by the Lecturer, Barbara Hawkins.
Graduate sitting fee is $50 unless otherwise agreed in advance of class.
* The Sponsor must pay the above minimum amount to Barbara Hawkins, Lecturer, at least 4 (four) weeks prior to the scheduled class.
Any tuition collected by Lecturer, Barbara Hawkins, will be deducted from the minimum amount due from Sponsor.
* If there are any cancellations (resulting in less than a total of 6 new students) the Sponsor is responsible to fill the seat and replace the refunded tuition. If the seat cannot be filled, the Sponsor is responsible for that tuition amount.
* Any other monies from additional new students’ tuition or Graduate sitting fees are due to the Lecturer, Barbara Hawkins, on the first day of the class.
